Sacred Valley. During which you will meet the Andean people wich their traditions, costumes, customs and beliefs. At the same time, you will come to know attractive cultural, religious as well as natural sites.

Pachamanka (Pachamanka which comes from the Quechua words Pacha or earth and Manka or pot) is an ancestral dish prepared on stones heated in a strong fire buried under the earth. It contains alpaca meat, trout, potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans and corn and - for the vegetarians – a variety of organic vegetables from the Sacred Valley
As we are concerned with your well-being, we are proud to offer you an excellent quality service, especially with respect to meals. Our families are enabled to prepare healthy meals with organic products that are yielded directly from their own land. We do not use any chemicals or genetically manipulated seeds. Our support staff consists of professional guides and very experienced drivers, who are focused at making our journeys custom made and truly unique.
The Homestay families are of modest economic background, but thanks to the efforts of each family in their respective Andean communities, we succeed in enterpreneurship moving our way forward, which allows us an improved quality of life for our children. In the process, we offer an example to our friends in the area. In travelling with us, you really make a positive contribution to our community, just as we intend to offer you one of your most inspiring and enjoyable holidays.
We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 am, and will start our day with a tour of salt mines of Maras. There are thousands of little plots filled with salty water that evaporates with the intense sunshine, making salt crystal buds up to forming a thick layer that after a month is extracted by the local families. This practice dates back thousands of years and was passed on from generation to generation. We’ll continue our journey to a beautiful Inca farming laboratory. Moray was the center of experiments in agriculture. It has platforms in concentric circles, each of them having different micro climates from the highest to the lowest part. According to the studies that were done, you can find a great variety of pollen including even the Coca plant that normally grows in the jungle. We will continue to visit Local school. We will interact with the children and you can even bring things to give the kids (ask us for ideas!).Then we will continue to the Homestay Family where a Pachamanka lunch will be prepared--we will have a chance to make a Pachamanka which comes from the Quechua words (Pacha or earth and Manka or pot). Lunch will be prepared in this oven of hot stones, covered in earth and we will have lunch with a Homestay Family. After that, we’ll continue to Chinchero with our ultimate visit to the weaving families to learn about the ancestral weaving art, using fiber of the alpaca and sheep and natural pigments of plants and some minerals to fixate the colors. The village of Chinchero is distinguished for keeping its weaving art and the costumes from the time of the Inca until the present. The women used to dedicate themselves to making beautiful, sacred blankets with a variety of designs and colors to be sent to the city of Cusco in the time of the Incas. Nowadays, they still make a variety of textiles for sale which is their main source of income.
