As an introduction to our cooking class, you will learn to make the Peruvian national drink, the famous Pisco Sour.
Our cooking classes are distinguished by being the only experience that is lived outside the city, in the Sacred Valley; it is a culinary adventure that is lived on the edge of a lagoon, surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes.

This local market is very colorful typical of the sacred valley, affords a very colorful and unique experience. Here we will see local families selling things such as fruits, vegetables, flowers and natural medicinal plants.

It is a unique experience of knowing the medicinal plants, flowers, organic vegetables, quinoa plant, and the guinea pig farm.
Salt mines of Maras
There are thousands of little plots filled with salty mountain water that evaporates with the intense sunshine, making salt crystal buds up to forming a thick layer that after a month is extracted by the local families

You can start from your hotel in Cusco, the Sacred Valley or Ollantaytambo. Our homestay team will pick you up at your hotel, in a private vehicle, to visit first to the local Urubamba market. Here we will see local families selling things such as fruits, vegetables, flowers and natural medicinal plants. Your guide will give your a tour of the market and you can taste Peruvian fruits such as passion fruit, lucuma, and chirimoya. after that we will buy all the supplies for our preparation of ceviche and pisco sour, then we will go to a beautiful lagoon surrounded by a natural landscape
As an introduction to our cooking class, you will learn to make the Peruvian national drink, the famous Pisco Sour. Learn the art of making a Peruvian ceviche, raw fish marinated in lemon juice, chillies, and cilantro.
After the ceviche classes we will visit a local farm, where we will know different medicinal plants and learn from their great healing properties, we will also see some quinoa plants, finally we will visit a guinea pig farm, After that, we’ll continue with our ultimate visit to the salt mines of Maras.
