Day 1: Fly Lima to Pucallpa. Overnight Pucallpa hotel - 4 stars.

  • Arrive to Pucallpa from Lima on flight of choice.
  • You can do an optional cruise around the Yarinacocha lake, spotting monkeys, parrots and crocodiles.
  • Your hotel will be in the chilled 4 star Eco-lodge, Manish. There is a outdoor pool, table tennis and bar area.

Day 2: Ayahuasca retreat Day 1: Ceremony #1

Sometime after breakfast in the morning we shall meet our local guide, who work at the retreat and work as translators at the ceremonies) who will show us some of the surrounding area as we travel two and a half hours to meet our boat on the river Pachitea at a port in the small town of Honoria.

 Once on the boat we then travel a further 30 minutes to the point where we head on foot to our refuge for the next 5 nights which is around 40 minutes further.

  • In the evening we start the ceremony at around 7 or 8pm and will last into the night.
  • Accommodation at the retreat in simple basic rooms and all meals (which are plain and basic)

Day 3: Ayahuasca retreat Day 2: Rest day 1

This day is following the schedule indicated by the retreat, there will be no ceremonies given by the Shaman today but there is the opportunity to visit the surrounding area and experience the local nature and wildlife that exists here.

  • Accommodation at the retreat, all meals (which are plain and basic)

Day 4: Ayahuasca retreat Day 3: Ceremony #2.

  • Today you will take in the 2nd ceremony at around the same time as night one.
  • Accommodation at the retreat in simple basic rooms and all meals (which are plain and basic)
  • The outside view of the retreat and the boiling river

Day 5: Ayahuasca retreat Day 4: Rest day 2

This 2nd rest day is following the schedule indicated by the retreat, there will be no ceremonies given by the Shaman today but there is the opportunity to visit the surrounding area and experience the local nature and wildlife that exists here.

  • Accommodation at the retreat in simple basic rooms and all meals (which are plain and basic)

Day 6: Ayahuasca retreat Day 5: Ceremony #3.

  • Today you will take in the 3rd and final ceremony at around the same time as night one and thre.
  • Accommodation at the retreat in simple basic rooms and all meals (which are plain and basic)

Day 7: Return from the retreat to Pucallpa.

We start after breakfast with a 40 minute walk back to the river and boat awaiting us. Then travel on the motor-boat 30 minutes to the nearest port. From there a full 2 hours transporting us back to the city of Pucallpa and onto the airport flight back to Lima. (Flight not included).

Preparation before drinking Ayahuasca.-  It is necessary a diet for preparation from a few days before drinking the beverage, because there are some foods containing tyramine  endangering health if consumed the day before or at the same day drinking ayahuasca. A diet for preparation also allows the body a more dynamic work with the plant and it helps in a subtle energy level.
